Very nice accolade and much deserved. I learn from reading the judges posts and it is very enlightening for a novice to read and visualize what they see when they look at a photo. Thanks you all, Karen Sharkey
ReplyDelete@Karen E. Sharkey - really appreciate the encouragement, Karen! rest assured that we will do our best to give you impartial and really good review of members works in our dp+ Pick. thanks, dear! :D
DeleteThe judges did a good job. Its hard to judge somebody's artistic endevour. But it has to be done. So i say thank you judges. Gilbert
ReplyDelete@Gilbert DVera - really pleased that you appreciate the efforts of our judges. just to say that a person's artistic endeavor can not be measured through a single competition, but through a consistent body of works done over a long period of time. what our judges did is to pick choices that best fit a given set of parameters. winning dp+ Pick doesn't mean one's work is so much better than the others - it just means that it was able to translate in visual terms concepts that best conform in a given set of parameters that in a way moved the judges. thanks for your comment, Gil! :)
