dp+ 8th monthsary milestones

dp+ celebrated its 8th month in existence as a Facebook group on March 17, 2012. Originally a Friendster group in 2007, many developments occur since Digital Photography Plus started as a Facebook group on July 17, 2011. Here are the milestones from February 17 - March 17, 2012, dp+' 8th monthsary:

1. dp+ group site members - 846 members

2. Number of Likes on dp+ official Facebook site - 630 Likes

3. dp+ site members - 142 members

4. An HDR department headed by Edmund Chan - HDR work in progress

5. dp+ photo challenge 4 - with Celebrating Woman/Women as theme - awaits dp+ Pick result, and the announcement of dp+ photo challenge 5 - with Photo illusions (without photo manipulation) as theme was made.

6. Additional feature posts to the dp+ site.

7. A Picbadge site for the group in operation

8. Continuation of presentation of Certificates of Photography Excellence to the winners of dp+ Popular Votes Pick and the dp+ Pick

9. Continuous issuance of Certificate of Appreciation to the dp+ Pick Panel of Judges

10. The addition of 2 dp+ administrators namely Gilbert de Vera and Benjax Rivera. With this additional administrators, we hope for an added flavor and unique photo insights and perspective for the group.

To all members, we have weathered a lot of storms as a group and prevailed. The group continues steadily and grows very promisingly, where each one is unique in their own rights, not a copy-cat of another and growing well in their craft as photographers.

Thank you for your continuous support, may it be in the sharing of photos and photo experiences, appreciation of other members' works, joining the photo challenges as entrant or as voter or as a judge, or by just simply lending strength to the group when needed.
