top 8 dp+ ranking for dp+ Pick, photo challenge 5

For dp+ photo challenge 5 - photo illusion theme, only 9 entries made it to the judges top 3 choices for the dp+ Pick Award and only Top 8 ranks since 2 entries tied at Top 6. To be included in this ranking means one or more judges included an entry in their top 3 picks. So if the judges chose a different entry each for their top 3 picks, there would be 15 entries in all. 


For this challenge, Top 4 to Top 8 entries got picked by one judge each to be part of their top 3 choices. Top 3 got 2 judges. Top 2 got voted by 3 judges and Top 1 got selected by 4 judges in their top 3 picks not necessarily all of them selecting it for their No. 1 pick. The more number of entries included in this list the more varied the judges picks were. So the choices of the judges were not as varied as before in this photo challenge - 2 or 3 entries were selected more than once.


There were 5 judges as before, 3 are part of the dp+ administration and 2 are select members of the group. Each judge picked their top 3 choices from all the entries and scored them based on 4 criteria which include Quality or the technical aspect of the photo (30%), Creativity and Originality (30%), Theme Adaptation (20%) and Overall Impact or Impression (20%). Each also gave their reasons for their picks. A total of 100% per judge is the perfect score in all categories per entry. Final perfect score is 500 points with 100 point percentage from each of the 5 judges. The one who gets the highest score wins.
